From Managing to Mentoring: Multiplying the Moment with Meaning
Dear Radical Honesty community and curious newcomers,Jesper here.
This post is a personal reflection on the past 1.5 years — a journey
through service, challenge, and recommitment inside the Radical
Honesty Institute (RHI).
Cleaning house — closing all longstanding accountability cases —
together with the creation of our new Code of Ethics, led to a
cultural shift: no new accountability cases have emerged. This was a
long-overdue healing process that made the community safer and more
aligned with our values.Reading the heart-wrenching witness
statements left a permanent mark on my soul. The stories, and the
courage behind them, will inform my actions for the rest of my life.
As Managing Director, I served as glue within the Owners Circle and
became a lightning rod for frustration — caught between those
pushing for faster reform and those concerned about the pace and
direction of our change.I also made mistakes — some of which cost me
sleepless nights. It’s not the mistakes themselves I grow from, but
what I do with them.
I helped resolve longstanding cases, co-created a new Code of
Ethics, filed trademark paperwork, removed our delinquent legal
status, and helped establish formal bylaws — all of which laid a
stronger foundation for our future.
It is with great humility that I have accepted the invitation to
become a co-owner of the Radical Honesty Institute. I now also serve
on the Board of Directors and am focusing on the Marketing Circle to
grow our aligned participant pipeline.
A Personal Dream in Motion
Back in 2018, I made a Radical Honesty life plan. It included
finding a nature retreat, leaving computer security, mentoring full
time, and building a meaningful online space.✅ I now have a large
retreat property in the Sierra foothills. ✅ I’ve mostly left
computer security. 🔄 I’m writing, building, mentoring. 🔄 My dream
continues to unfold.
From July 2020 to December 2023, I led 175 Radical Honesty
fellowships. I co-led 8-week courses, supported trainer training,
and was welcomed as a trainer candidate despite the program being
closed.
Now, I’m developing Radical Sincerity at RadicalSincerity.org — a
healing and mentoring practice rooted in honesty, care, and recovery
from codependency and family dysfunction.
With gratitude,Jesper Jurcenoks
